When you call the wrong seal clubber a scrub.
So there i am. 3.0 italy trying to get the final win for the crappy battle pass...
And there's this squad of 4 level 100 players clubbing the level 10s on my team.
One of em had over 4,000 kills and less than a thousand deaths in the H 100D
Call em seal clubbing scrubs as i leave and strangely end up with a 4 day com ban when i try to tell someone to come towards me next game lol.

Seems i hurt the wrong seal clubbers feelings.... Come on WT when are you going to do something about the blatant abuse of power in your game? Hah... as if gaijin would ever do something in their games best interests... Its so sad...

Anyone else ever had stuff like this happen too you?

That has to be the worst "justification" I have ever heard. To put it simply, and in a way that won't get me forum-banned, have you ever heard the expression "two wrongs don't make a right?"

How about three wrongs? Being unfair to hurt every level 100 player who paid their dues isn't right either.

What does that even mean? Stopping seal clubbing isn't hurting anyone, it's improving game design, and probably helping with new player retention. Aside: using the phrase "paid their dues" to defend this is just gross; I can say with confidence that we would never get along IRL.

I'm not that other guy; I'm not saying that you should have a % of your rewards stolen equal to your account level if you play low BRs. That would be wrong.

Seal clubbing is so hard to stop in games like these. The squads are usually the big problem, 4 man squads of experienced players dropping down to club is just sad no matter what their excuse.

I remember when I was learning this game way back when and watching you tube vids. Came across a guy called krebs who starts vid by saying "fans requested I make some 2.0 vids blah blah" then recruits his 2 1000's of hours played squad mates to go club rooms of people who mostly are alone and trying to learn game while his following tells him how awesome he is at war thunder lol.

This, I am repeating it endlessly. There is an huge difference between a single level 100 player that goes seal clubbing at low tiers because he has fun, and that's totally legit, and a squad of 4 veterans players that uses coordinated tactics to spawncamp newbies at low tiers.

The last one is what should be totally banned from the game because it's completely unfair and also because is like cheating, it requires literally no skill at all (at least for planes).

I suspect it's at least part of the reason they made the BP mostly Rank 3 and up; it encourages players to spend more time above Noob-Landia without actually addressing the economy concerns at higher BRs.

Merely switching who gets treated unfairly isn't a solution.

I think that this is one of the reasons, and a valid one, however they should re-organize the rank 3 vehicles (at least the planes) for all the nations, because currently there are strong unbalancements between different nations. Some nations have very valid planes in every role starting @BR.3, while for other nations lack attackers or have rank 3 planes starting from @BR.4 and even above.

So they should re-organize the ranks and set the same BR range for every rank of every nation, also because ranks don't represent anymore epochs but just the vehicles ranking, in the same way of the BR.

What exactly is unfair about having to face players with at least 10% of your playtime?

I guess, according to you, middle school sports teams should be playing against college teams. Because that's sooo fair.

Says the person who's seemingly afraid of a fair fight, or even anything remotely close to it. And no, you haven't successfully dodged the question.

Shut up

Seal clubbers are scums that play against noobies just to feel superior because they suck at their actual LvL.

How about those people who want to play at lower tier bc top tier battles are kinda ass.

Or those who started to grind a new nation?

or what if they dont have premium and are broke and farming lions?

There is a big reason between those reasons. And a 5 to 1 KD in a 2.0 plane that goes down in BR more than up, numbering in the thousands of kills though would you not agree?

And there is more than enough fun to be had above a tir that faces reserve level planes.

I mean, some of those low-BR planes, especially the biplanes, are hella fun to fly, so it's not cool to shame people for flying fun planes--the real issue is that Gaijin is being super lazy about making a gentler learning curve, which is insane considering they love money, and improving new player retention is one of the biggest things they could possibly do to increase revenue. I'm sure there's a huge overlap between people who impulse-buy and people who are prone to rage-quitting games with a steep learning curve.

We all read the TOS, or should have, before agreeing to it... I didn't make the game, or its rules; but it is how it has been for everyone. If Gaijin wants to change it - they will; else they won't - your opinion or mine notwithstanding.

(Asinine assertions that I'm in favor of having middle school football teams should have to play college teams is the best you can do?)

What exactly does the ToS have to do with the price of tea in China? We're talking hypothetically about how the game should be, not what it currently is. Was that the best you can do?

And, actually, it's a fairly apt comparison, because even IRL sports puts players into some kind of brackets. Sure, it still isn't 100% perfectly balanced and fair, but in most cases the outcome hasn't been decided before the match even starts, which is effectively what we're seeing in WT's lowest BRs. Or I suppose a more accurate comparison would be sprinkling the college-level players semi-randomly throughout the middle school teams, except each college player has the potential opportunity to bring some of his/her teammates with them.
