Just checked some Youtubers' stats,their stats seems somewhat disappointing to me,kinda surprised to see most of them are average.
Somehow better trust oneself than reviewers,their advice is only useful if you are new to something.

The only CC that can be trusted on their own skill that I'm aware of is DEFYN. He's the type of guy to have a 20 K/D on a plane and call it thrash not worth anyone's time.

His videos are fun, but take what he says with a pinch of salt. He gets carried away with himself.

Most of the big channels have special media accounts with various goodies unlocked, not just Phly. In fact, I think there was a video or a stream somewhere where he got on his gf's account, which was pretty much a bare bones F2P account, and admitted himself that regular players totally do have an uphill struggle in comparison!

With that said, I don't like much of Phly's recent "WaTCh mE PulL a THUNDerSHOw LOlz!!!11" crap all that much. His older material is actually pretty useful for studying what could be good tactics for some vehicles (Ki-44-II Otsu comes to mind) while still being reasonably entertaining. Him and a few of the others also didn't hold back on criticizing Gaijin too in the past as well, and I do feel, helped get some common grievances to finally resonate with Gaijin. In other words, when he reviews a plane, I feel it isn't too bad and gives an idea of what to expect. OTOH, when he's doing Meme-y crap that no reasonable player should do on a regular basis, I just go watch other channels.

Of course, Phly is just going for what most of the viewers want, since that pays the bills, I can't exactly blame him. I can blame players who did try some of that stuff and got obliterated before they could even start though...

I didn't say there were different, just siad i started watching it, but quit WT, got to L7 and gave up being clubbed by ♥♥♥♥ heads who are supported by ♥♥♥♥♥♥ devs.

I've started looking at some of the other youtubers as well for reasons I started above. He's become almost purely for entertainment (yeah, I'm sure an FCM.36 in the right hands could fight a Tiger, but should it?)

EuropeanCanadian (mostly for hearing about newer content), Ash, a few others I can't name off the top of my head. Many of them seem to air many of the grievances started by the playerbase as a hole too. They seem to be a little more useful for observing and learning from too these days.

Also, I just realized, to OP. Don't go off of Thunderskill too much. Someone who plays exclusively meta equipment could come out on top without much effort in how it calculates player rankings. That has always been a pretty common criticism for it in general. What I would do is scrutinize performance in each vehicle individually if anything.

Because he is good at teaching things but not so entertaining. Few people watch youtube to learn, most people want to be entertained.

Another youtuber that I find very good at teaching flying tactics is Jengar, and he has low viewership too.

what is are good stats for RB in your eyes cause I doubt an AB player would know

80% or above relative position,especially if someone plays air battle.
