Why would you regret buying that? its amazing for what it does

Aside from the fact that you can get a full nights sleep while it's reloading, it seems to be a pretty good vehicle.
Edit: I personally would like to see them introduce the Churchill AVRE that fired a 250mm HESH round, nicknamed 'The dustbin' because it was so huge.

3k is cheap for a repair cost. Take a look at the other Centurions in the research tab.

Like the other guy said, that is a very cheap repair cost. There's a handful of vehicles I avoid playing due to repair cost, one of those I've avoided "semi-recently" is the Ho-Ri Production at 7.0, that gets demolished by basically anything and gives you a happy 17k repair cost STOCK, 20k spaded.
Even just getting a cap in the AVRE should be enough to get most if not all the repair cost back, let alone getting a kill which seems much easier now with the overpressure mechanics.

You're talking to a player who doesn't even have 100k-

If you're using premium(with the premium vehicle) you're looking at 11k SL per cap.

On top of that:
Just looking at this video, the first 2 kills net this guy between 5k-7k SL, with such a low repair cost, you should be making more than you are losing.

It isn't HE or HEAT. It is HESH which is quite different to HEAT.

doesnt matter HE HESH HEAT All have lotta explosive inside em.difference is injection of that mass into the enemy tank. İ generally name all of them as HE . and avre's ballistic arc is so high it hits top of vehicles so armor is irrelevant almost. any HE HESH and HEAT with 20kg tnt equivelant going to do same effect. total destruction.

but this aint really our topic here indeed. its Yuu's remorse. somehow...

Nah man, shell type makes a massive difference. HEAT generally will be easier to use because you can shoot hulls and one shot like that. If you say, shoot HESH on a T-54 hull or any comparable tank for that matter, high chances you'll just kill the driver and tracks and if you're lucky destroy the barrel. HESH and HE generally require turret hits to work properly.

As far as I know, at the time of the Churchill AVRE, HESH didn't exist yet. The petard was a regular HE projectile, possibly more comparable to a bomb than a shell.
