T-34-100 or T-44-122? which one should I choose?

i want to buy one of these premiums and I all i keep hearing is get the T-34-100 as its a beast, but i liked some other people opinions and such.

Well the T-34 100 reloads in half the time which is a huge thing in its favor given that the T-44 122 has a longer reload than even an IS 2. Apart from that I can't tell you much as I'm only beginning to play with the T-34 100.

T-34-100 is the right choice, Good advantages and only couple of bad ones like the depression. with it being one of the best tier 4 premiums.

T-44-122 is a medium tank with a gun suited for heavy tanks, While it can kill everything in one shot it suffers from huge reload time and doesn't have the armor to take any shots back. also huge weakspot right in the front of the tank.

T-34-100 is pretty much junk after they nerfed it from 6.3 to 6.7, it wont survive that BR.
T-44-122 is 6.3 so wont get uptiered as high and as often.

The 122mm on uptiered matches is useless, unless its the one that t10m has.

The 122 isn't bad, I got it 75% off from a trophy. It is just the IS-2, but much faster and more maneuverable. There has been times on urban maps where I fire a shot and a guy comes around the corner in a Tiger II and I'm still able to out-flank him while waiting for the reload. That said, you have to pen in the right spots to kill, aiming at the front of a Tiger II won't work very often.

My friend recently tried out the T-34 100 from a test drive and he seemed to really enjoy it. I know when I was grinding though German T4 tanks months ago that the T-34 100 was one of the banes of my existence back then.

personally enjoyed the T-44-122 much more. Sure it wont have ammo, but its just the right amount of overkill at 6.3.

Not quite, the only trouble the 122mm will face at 7.3 is the JagdTiger and the T32. Both that is trouble for even the T-34-100. I know this because the T-44-100 will often face these tanks and more.

The 122mm on the otherhand, will overmatch a lot of tanks, expecially at 6.3 so hull shots are much more feasible.

You fire a 122mm shot and the enemy has atleast 20seconds to confortable kill you...
100mm faster reload and it will deal with any tank, i use alot 100mm gun without heafts in my t54s and kill everything, just use it with right timming!!!

True but its on a platform that anything can oneshot it. 45mm hull armor so it gets overmatched easily at 6.7 and it can't hulldown because the turret is so huge.

The T-54 and the T-44-100 are both great tanks, all more armored and have better reload along with APCR at least.

Compare that to the 6.3 T-44-122, it can't be shot at the hull because of its 75mm armor (so no overmatch) and 60degree sloping. The only weakness of its hull is the driver's viewport compared to the T-34 which is literally the entire tank.

But if the OP is having fun in the T-34-100, then its fine with me.

What you are saying, yes its true, t34-100 must be used as a sniper most of the times and flank when we have absolute certain that we will win the fire fight shooting first to kill, and finaly its a tank that we have to use avoiding being hitted, if the Rng isnt in our side yes the tank is weak.
