shooting lag?

I see a lot of situations where I and enemy tank are facing each other, I shot first I SEE how shell pass through him with no damage and he kills me.

What is happening? I can clearly see I shot first

we call it "ghost shell" and it was always there. and many theories but we dont really know what causing it. when that happens, just move to another spot before shooting again. i think its due to some sort invisible meshes on enviroment, thats why leaving that spot/angle and engaging from somewhere else works for me.

While I have no doubt that from your view you fired 1st; and you think your shot hit. In this game, it's what the server saw that matters.

I run into literal freeze up when being shot at sometimes, AND i also notice the ghost shells passing through that Stug III's front armor.
