There's no non-SARH all aspect missile for non-soviet planes because they would absolutely obliterate the game balance as it currently exists.

R-23T at best gives a small benefit to a plane that's pretty meh (can't lock until under 2.5km and if your opponent can't wheel off from a head on that close/fast to a frontal MiG-23, they deserve the missile to the face).

We'll probably see stuff like AIM-9L etc. later on, but they're definitely not needed now.

No, they don't, not on jets at least.

They have it on helis though

if they added in AIM-9L you wouldn't have any soviet or German players left to have matches against in RB
