A LOT!
Effective or economic?
NOT AT ALL!
Forget about stick or HOTAS in AB/RB if you want decent results.
SB is something else.
It's sad, but true.
I got more flight sticks than shoes (I'm male), but if you want to get good results in AB/RB, you'd better learn to fly with mouse aiming.
When you got your stick, there is still DCS, the IL-2s, Elite Dangerous, Flight Simulator, Aerofly FS, you name it..
But you better don't try WT AB/RB matches with it.
Or just once, to know how much stick fliers have to suffer there.
I would like to try simulator battles but I don't know if i find enough players for it. I think flight stick and cockpit view is a must.
I see
In SB, it is. :-)
And you'll have a queue. So a match will start when there are enough players for it. ;-)
I really love flying with HOTAS, but no markers is no fun for me in SB.
And in RB you only got one spawn and the mouse aimers got the advantage over stick users (in aiming/killing; maybe not in evading).
I tried with stick in AB/RB a lot.
But the results were/are abysmal.
So I had to learn how to fly with a mouse.
Did.
Doing a lot better now.
Still don't like it, but did/do it for the score.
