Aces File unable to launch or be deleted
Now I can't even play the game because the content file(s) is locked. What the ♥♥♥♥. Second time in a row I've had issues with the updates. Because of this I will lose my 200 something day login streak, thanks Gaijin.

Edit: Yes I already took the file out of my antivirus's quarantine and have made several exceptions for that file.

idk whats going on with your client, but you wont lose your streak completely in first offline day, but you ll lose some of the progress.

there are two aces.exe files (32bit and 64bit) - while the av software should ofc pick the correct one ^^ you should maybe still have a look whether it says ..\win32\aces.exe or ..\win64\aces.exe

also there are two archives - pc.zip and pc64.zip - which contain those files.

Yeah, I only have win32 now for some reason. I used to have win64 file but it is not there after the reinstall. Either way, none of them worked.

Negative, I can't even delete the file on my own computer.

Restart PC (RESTART, NOT shut down and start again).

Then try again.

Chances are something is locking that file, be it Steam, the Gaijin launcher, your AV software, or something else.

I did it an nothing changed. I tried to launch from the only aces file I had and I got some message saying that I was missing NVCameraSDK64.dll. What the ♥♥♥♥ even is this?

Run Gaijin's launcher.
Check the file integrity of the WT folder.

Try windows security I had just fixed it and windows security was blocking the aces file open windows security- click on virus and threat protection then click on manage ransomware protection and then click on allow an app through controlled folder access after clicking that add an allowed app then click on recently blocked apps and you should see aces.exe

I've been having the same issue. Had to uninstall my antivirus to complete the update. Do the same and reinstall your AV after u update War Thunder.

Fixed it. Had to uninstall and reinstall after the AV problem was fixed, then reboot the PC. After that I verified the integrity of my files and it corrected itself after that. :lunar2019deadpanpig:
