Falcon BR raise 7.7 - 8.0??

What was the reason behind this? Brittish tree already have a 8.0 SPAA. Falcon was a nice gap between the SPAA's between 3.7 and 8.0... mostly because it was the ONLY SPAA filling that gap. The 7.7 lineup needed a proper SPAA, and Falcon filled that role nicely. What is the point of it now? Force Brits into uptier unless they want to go to battle with no proper air protection? Good grief some of these changes make absolutely no sense. Would be nice if we at least got a substitute to fill that 4.3 BR gap (I'm not counting the Crusader Mk i, it's mediocre at best at it's OWN BR).

Because the Falcon has the APFSDS rounds and everyone was using it as a Tank Destroyer rather than a SPAA. Sadly with that ammo it's more effective doing that.

I'd personally rather they removed the APFSDS rounds off it and lowered its BR to like 7.

I see your point, I think that would be a good solution aswell. Meanwhile we have R3's running around blasting tanks and absolutely demolishing anything that flies if they ever stop to do their job at the same BR that the Crusader Mk i struggle to do either or.. and we are supposed to use that to fight jets now:P

Because its an insanely good SPAA that can eat through tanks and can still easily shoot down jets while lacking a radar.

If they wanted to keep it sub 8.0 it needs to have its APDS rounds removed.

It's also annoying as it's just not good at being a SPAA at 8.0. Not having a radar at those BR's makes it useless for that role and basically forces it to be a tank destroyer.

It's on the same BR as the Gepard, which is a much, much better vehicle in literally every single way.

This is so relevant. Gaijin just love to ♥♥♥♥ up the Brit line ups. It's the same with the Chieftain Mk5, yet the Mk3 stays where it is even though they are virtually identical?? ALSO, not to mention the Shot Kal Dalet which is better than the Mk5 Chief stays at 8.3...
Essentially makes the Mk5 reduntent because it's not worth the jump to 8.7 to play it.
With no AA, there is also no real reason to play 7.7 Brits when the 7.3 lineup seems to get uptiered way less.

its has a single APDS round every 4 shots.

thanks to that single apds round, i can quarentee you at least 6-7 tank kills each time i use falcon.
anyway. that round should be removed from belt, instead it should receive single belt of 40apds rounds just like gepard,chieftain marksman.

because atm falcon has max ammo capacity of 620 rounds, divide to 4, it makes 155rounds of apds. it fires both cannons at same time this makes around 76 individual shots compared to 20shots of gepard and other similiar spaas.

so what im saying that single shell what makes falcon the falcon and not so innocent. this br change was long waited, especially me. it wont change anything when falcon faces 9.0s, its gonna pen and wreck most of them but at least now it cant torture some downtiers. and they re free from falcon menace.

german ap belts practically useless anyway. gepard nowhere near a good tank killer compared to falcon. and nerfed before. also its size and mobility doesnt allow it in first place even its guns/ammo d allow. get 7-8 tank kills with gepard in a match then i can guarantee you i will personally call Guinness assosiaciation myself.

what i suggested not even a nerf for pen values, i only suggested normalization for falcon. zsu57s and falcon really need it.
