Leopard a1a1 l44

L44 + TAM + Gepard + JaPzK A2. this s what you should use till 9.3 germany.you can add either your 3p too if you bought it or stick with begleit. begleit still competitive enuf. L44 what you should first spawn with and farm biggest bulk of rp to progress as its being top grinder of germany.

all other remaning vehicles not competitive enuf. especially generic leoa1a1, i can say with confidence, its the worst leo i have drove.

m48ga2 going to struggle a lot aswell, unless you sit at same spot for sniping. meanwhile all other nations run around with stabilizers and sabots. i d not even use it. not gonna work when uptiered.

leo1a5 idk , never drove mine coz it added later to game after i past that point. i still struggle to learn difference between a1a1 and 1a5. probably its 1a5 has access to stab + dm33 shells. engines look different aswell but top speed same. armor same. you might think to add this instead of japzka2 imo.

I completely forgot about TAM thx for reminding me, the tanks been in a great interest of mine lately mainly cuz of its gameplay style it seems to be promoting

Mostly same thing since Type 74 is Leo and Type 87 is Gepard.
L44 has way better gun with 120mm.

TAM is pretty miserable experience, at least at first since apfsds is in the last line of mods.

Type 89 is better than Begleitpanzer in many ways, and I'd go so far to say it is possibly the best IFV in game. Also the Type 74 is slightly slower than a Leo but much better at rough terrain with it's suspension and also because of the suspension it has better depression and can be much lower profile. Also while less useful it does have IR spotlight if you choose to use it.

Germany, if you can get the Class 3P do it, its great. also as germany you can get the G91 R3 to atgm spam tanks.

wdym depression? you mean the gun depression or the hydro pneumatic suspension mechanism that is unique to the type 74 gkai

idk if type89 is better or not, i didnt play japan. but i suggest to keep begleit in your lineup due to some specific reasons.

-begleit one of the few pre 10.0 german vehicle that has thermal, even its early generation.

-begleit has powerful close proximity aa shells, i purely use begleit cannon for AA. you can easily get somewhere between 3-6 air kills. even at extreme ranges like 4kms you can snipe choppers. 2 close proximity explosions is enuf to kill any air vehicle in game. think like an zsu57 on steroids.

-begleit is the only atgm carrying vehicle after 8.3 in german tree. sure you can take rakjpz/HOT but those re hull aim vehicles, turreted begleit is much more practical on field.

-low shilleoute , even lower than bradley and similiar type of ifvs, they re towering near begleit.

if you come and ask me that would i bring m48ga2 or begleit to battle and i can only pick one? then i definetely say always begleit.

All Japanese MBTs past and including the STB have Hydropneumatic suspension so all of them can get extra depression by using it right.

the 1a5 is basically a a1a1 l/44 but free and that deals slightly less damage due to the 105mm l7 gun compared to the 120mm one, but on the plus side having more pen ( 410mm vs 390 ).
it also has thermals, laser rangefinder and cool feature that notifies you if a laser rangefinder is used on you, or thats what i think it does.

extra depression wdym? I dont really know how to utalize it yet. Ive binded em, but I dont know when to use it
