Their aircraft are fun to use, but their armament is lackluster as they essentially have the weakest cannons in the game. Zeros are super fun, Hiens are pretty much slower, but more maneuverable 109s, Ki-84s are Godly, and the R2Y2s are fun. I personally never liked the J2Ms, but they're solid. N1K1s are also great.
After that point, it's basically just Japanese versions of American/German jets. The T-2 and F-1 are domestically produced jets, but they're pretty much a Japanese concept of a Jaguar.
Japanese tanks are quite enjoyable. When I'm not maining US, Japan is my second choice for a good time. Once you start getting into the Chi's, it gets better. When you get into Rank IV, Japan starts curbing into "You're using vehicles a generation after the tanks you're facing." Type 61 for example could easily be 7.7, but it's 6.7. That's pretty much the theme Japan's tech tree from Ranks IV through VI. Rank VII they're not nearly as competitive, but Type 90s are still fun.
Well the downside of the 6.3 and 6.7 tanks is basically no armor other than breach and a super unstable gun. Personally I'd say Japan ground forces is mostly for players who don't mind the feeling of knowing literally anything can kill you at any moment if you don't spot them first
Nah, Japan teaches you the correct way to play the game:
Don't get hit in the first place
Tier 1, you're better off using Ho-Ro and Ji-Ro.
Tier 2, Ho-Ni I, Ho-Ni III and Chi-Ha LG
Tier 3, Na-To, Chi-To Late, Chi-Ri II and M4A3 (76) W
Tier 4, Type 75 SPH, Type 60 SPRG (C) and ST-A3
Tier 5 STB-1 and Ho-Ri Production (This one you have to care the Repair Fee)
I can't comment Tier 6 & 7 because I havent Unlocked that Bracket yet
