I shot it's cannon 4 times with the Panther A's APHECBC, yet it didn't even go yellow, I checked on the penetration calculator and it says it should've just destroyed it's barrel with the first shot. Then I get one shot, very sad. :(

As a practical matter, and under game conditions where vehicles are moving about, and ranges tend to be longer than in my test - I agree. But sooner or later we're all going to find ourselves in the OP's shoes: right in front of an angry T28/T95.

The test I did suggests that the 75mm can absolutely take out the T28/T95's gun; but it's not an easy shot under game conditions. A smart TD player will keep their barrel moving, making a tough shot even tougher. Yes, the odds are slim; but if you're unfortunate to be caught it that position - a slim chance is way better than none.

t95 s at really weird br imo.when downtiered its really pain to kill.only option to flank, it cant really turn fast on its place.but when it stays on its own br or uptiered then it becomes useless. just shooting its cheek with heat enough to kill it. everything penetrates it.

Didn't use the protection analysis in the garage for anything. I used the tankpolygon custom user mission.

While it has some flaws, overall, it's been a pretty reliable tool over the years - far more so than the protection analysis tool in the garage. Especially in really odd cases: like when the IS-6 was 1st introduced; or as in this case: tanks that I seldom ever encounter - like the T28/T95.

broken transmission or not, it s understanble that flanking aint an option each time. maybe because t95s position or sometimes maybe flanks too secure by enemies.

Go for tracks and like you did in this situation, the barrel. I find that shooting at the very end of the barrel or at the muzzle brake usually knocks the barrel out first try.

I just want to remind everyone that this update they did a major barrel health buff. Unless you're dead accurate, then the barrel will remain intact. And if you use a SPAA, then the barrel won't fall below yellow unless you shoot it on a perfect side angle.

It's still doable though. Faced a T95 yesterday in my Cent Mk 1 and managed to break its barrel and tracks, flanking to its side and shooting it probably around 5-10 times in various locations before finding a weakspot.

i play the t95 all the time, people here say killing a t95 is easy and there are plenty of weak spots. yeah no, when you're staring down the barrel of a 105mm with impregnable armour you panic and all your easy tactics go out the window. tracking it wont work because i can turn faster than you, shooting my gun out and going for my side won't work since i'm always around allies at close range. only way to kill me is with bombs or endless cupola shots.

chances are, if you've been surprise-attacked by a T95, it's on its own. In which case, stay calm. I know this is cliche, but - it's just a game. Don't worry about SL costs in the heat of the moment. In order to do well at war thunder you need to be calm at all times.
If you can't even do that, then you need to just improve overall, don't even begin to worry about specific vehicles.

most people i see panic and shoot wherever they can. yes most times by the time i get to the front lines either my teammates have taken the forward point or they've been decimated making me the front line. i love the latter situation because i can start destroying all the players who come near me as i push up constantly. then by the time my team recovers i've taken the forward point and the game is pretty much over from there. not very often do i get killed by tanks, mainly aircraft that i'm unable to shoot down before they bomb me as i'm a prime target every battle.

and if you see me at long range, just hide, hide and hope i'm low on ammo and prioritising targets
