2.) judging from time period, it could be a computer like system, where the driver is looking through a screen, and not a port like 95% of tanks, and APCs
2.yeah well they could have added view cams to the model
Why did they add another prototype to Germany after removing a ton?
Actually existing tanks get added: "How dare they!"
The Maus was hidden for other reasons.
1. The 88mm proposal wasn't even for the Panther 2. It was for the Panther G. It was scrapped since they decided that they wouldn't need the bigger gun, besides they would have had to design a new turret. In game they shrunk down the breech so it can fit in the turret (which wasn't even the right one). It's only half as big in the game. I don't think you need an explanation of how impossible that is.
2. The increased side armour wasn't even built a single time, because they realized it wasn't needed if they just mounted the Seitenschürzen on the Panther. which they obviously did.
3. The Schmalturm was designed after they scrapped the whole idea of the Panther 2. So even if they actually built one, it wouldn't have had that turret.
4. The night vision part is another seperate proposal.
So, the thing in game wasn't even a paper tank. It was pure fiction. Get over it.
They stopped the Panther II bc the sideskirts were good enough for protection and the other benefits of the Panther II were put in the Panther G seriers.
Yes the turret has been fictional but the carriage has been produced as a working prototype, the US has stolen it after war and now it is there in a museum and has been tested.
From my side i would be happy, if there would be zero prototypes from every nation ingame and only tanks that has seen service.
I've heard multiple times that the T-44-122 wouldn't work, but I honestly struggle to find sources for that.
