How to use the P47 as a fighter

Using altitude and speed advantages helps. Above 4km it gets good, at 5 it becomes quite fast. Avoid turning and use speed as much as you can.

My next recommendation as with anything with US50s would pick a belt with the most API.

Side climb. Boom, extend & zoom, working you way down from the highest enemy to the next highest enemy. Do NOT immediately go to middle of the map without climbing.

You'll definitely have to do the above to even spade the plane, otherwise you'll be immediately killed and get no points for upgrades.

Unless your opponents are particularly dumb; I've seen entirely too many turnfighters drop down nearly 2km just to attack P-47s from the front. One time it was a lemming train of 3 of them in about as many minutes!

Unfortunately, I've never been that lucky the few times I try to use the P-47. . . Or anything else with an obvious gun advantage, for that matter.
