I found an EBR kill my whole team of cats.(some from my teammate skill, they don't gangbanged him when still outnumber.
Only thing on Tiger that EBR can't pen is its eyehole.
While it got harder and harder for the EBR to kill its enemies frontally it can just hide somewhere and then shoot at the sides of the enemy. The same thing goes with the Sd.Kfz. 234/2: It basically has the potential to easily flank the majority of ww2 tanks (and some mbts of course), but I guess the difference between it and the EBR is that it's German.
Personally I don't mind the EBR going up but due to the fact Gaijin screwed up its traction and speed (because the steel wheels are obviously just there for cosmetic purposes) I stopped playing it at some point
If the vehicle really is as good as some of you claim then how come barely anyone is playing it at least from what I am seeing? Players tend to gravitate towards overperforming vehicles. For example when the Jagdpanther was lowered to 6.0 BR I immediately saw a huge increase in players using it.
The reason can't be that few players own the vehicle because when it started out at 4.7 BR I saw it being used a lot. Nowadays rarely so even though those same players must still be around and still own the vehicle.
In my opinion the best indicator for whether a vehicle is overtiered / undertiered is to look at whether people actually bother to play it. An "extremely" good vehicle that is rarely used seems like an unlikely thing.
A few weeks ago I encountered an EBR 1954 in my Panther and knocked it out with my MG (a bug that has since been fixed because it had a legit hole in its turret armor that didn't even protect it from MG fire). Yesterday I encountered an EBR 1954 and knocked it out with a fighter plane from above. Apart from that I don't even remember having encountered any EBRs in the recent weeks. So that's two encounters in what was probably a couple of dozen games in my experience... both of which ended very fatally for the EBR to say the least.
I do play EBR 1954 even with a line up of 8.0 (so I can face stuffs from 7.0 to 9.0) and I assure you that there are ennemies who cry a lot even at those BR when I frag them.
I don't say it is "easy", but it's just a matter of adaptation.
And for now, we can't do anything about its BR, so I do with what I have : adaptation.
