Leaving battles shouldn't get you punished. The bad maps are a huge problem.

Perhaps a better strategy to get players to stay in the game would be to to make the game actually fun and entertaining. In fact I don't think there should be any punishment for leaving a horrible match up, horrible map, horrible game early.

Sometimes they get things right and things are actually almost fun, but I don't see why I should be punished for leaving when the outcome is predetermined. When it's three minutes in, half my team is already dead, the single cap is in enemy hands, and my one and only spawn is already being heavily camped and bombed, why exactly should I keep spawning in?

There is more to it then that, but maps are very problematic. It becomes very apparent when you reach high tiers and endup in maps that were designed for low tiers.

gaijin's suffer/greed policy + player's frustration wont allow anything you might suggest.

Its not about "greed" gaijjin don't make anything off crew lock times. Its to discourage people joining a game, seeing an uptier and leaving instantly. Its like most other multiplayer games, if you leave through a match you get a small cool down. Although I 1000000% agree that playing a night map in a full up br with no night vision unlocked is the single most ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing ever and I would leave the match aswell.

i said million times, i ll say 1 more time again, all those mechanics to make you suffer, and make you purchase premium time or vehicle to skip those uptiering, or shorten your time in those BRs where you get outclassed by your enemies. its not a conspiracy theory or smth. quite simple.

There's no free lunch for any of us. If you want to leave - leave; but accept the consequences of your decision. According to you leaving confers a benefit that rerpesents the lesser of two evils; so take your "benefit" and the crew lock. Play a different nation, when you come back your crew lock will be history.

guess you weren't there where leaving a match with no penalty, you'll have a full match only to be left with only 5 tanks against a full team.

I also leave the game in this case, Often the games are already lost in advance.

Me? Been playing > 6 years. Been last man standing plenty of times... Some of those I won for my team. Other times - not so lucky.

If you think leaving is in your best interests - I don't care. Which ever way you do decide, accept the consequences of that choice. A crew lock is but a minor annoyance; it's not as if the sky was falling. Play a different nation. Hey, two bad maps in a row = back to back crew locks. That won't win any prizes; but by simply swapping nations you can often eliminate the wait altogether.

Until Gaijin can get the players to fix matchmaking people will always leave. Not really fun playing 3.3 for instance against a hoard of KV L11's, Jagpanzer, Church III's etc.

Please tell me more about leaving a lost game! Yeah it happens in 2 out 10 Games that im in and we clearly lose so players leave and im ok with it. But in 6 other games we really could have won that match if the players with premium tanks wouldnt leave after getting killed. Sorry but there needs to be a punishment for this!

They need to let You Ban more than 4 maps. And the modes as well. I hate going into a AB that has objectives You have to take in a plane. And they need to stop this up tier stuff. I hate it when I see vehicles a full 1.3 BR higher than Your best vehicle in a match, I will leave when I see that. But I just play another country or watch YouTube or something till it unlocks.
