Why only russian tanks have era?

They are not the only tanks with ERA in-game. M60 RISE-P, Cent. Mk. V AVRE, Centauro ROMOR, and others also have ERA packages and plates.

Not even every modern tank has ERA (Leopard 2 for example doesn't use it)

Leclerc is an interesting one with internal ERA, one of the very few I've seen

are the ones i can think of right now. true russian nation have high amount of vehicles with kontakt armor.but underneath it there s not much. certainly not like abrams or leopards.in some cases, even challengers ve more thicker composite plates i believe, if i aint mistaken.

because they lack protection from their composite armours and ERA is an easy way of increasing protection on vehicles you can't change the composite layout/thickness on easily?

TUSK II would be very nice to have but I'd rather see it on a new Abrams SEPV2 or SEP V3 for example rather than the M1A2 we currently have.

TUSKII wouldn't be effective against things like apfsds but it could potentially protect against things like heat and tandem warheads since TUSKII has two layers of era iirc.
