1 How do "coupons" (most accurate on airplanes) work?
2 Is it worth it to put the pieces of the event together or to sell them?
3 If I sell, what do you advise me to do with the points I earn?

If you get a coupon, you "activate" it to obtain your vehicle, but then you cant sell it anymore. You can only sell it as a coupon.
If you have th time grind out the jet/ tank. If you cant complete it, sell your parts.
After you yold your coupon, you get gaijin coins. With those you can:
a) buy golden eagles
b) buy op premium bundles like the ka-50 if you'd like to, no one's holding you back
c) buy some either usefull or funny event vehicle you'd like to play on the war thunder market
d) loose all of your money by getting keys for chest and realise you only get wierd skins
e) buy skins or decorations on your marketplace
It's up to you what you want use the coins for. I would probably go for a high tier premium bundle or golden eagles to buy premium account or premium vehicles

You dont need to spend any more coins.
The only thing you need is some silver lions for training a crew for it.
Or, if it is an event plane and doesnt have premium status you still need to get all parts and mods by grinding it out.
