Huge FPS drops

I have died countless times. I checked everything, and it is just war thunder. Is it my PC or the servers?

FPS drop can also be caused by ping spikes

yeah, but ping was at about 180 and pl at 1

Yeah, sometimes a good ping and stable PL can spike at random occasion, it's unpredictable

dagor engine and hamster server have issues in war thunder

I'm sorry but 180 ping is not normal,thats why you having this issue.

It is happening to me too, but only in Ash River, 60 FPS but the game just keeps freezing every 3 seconds, the FPS goes to 60 to 2 every 3 seconds

That sounds like a lack of video memory.

But then again, War Thunder is like that too often. Sooo many issues in 4K for so long.

This sounds like something I have in some maps as well game randomly freezing.
One solution to fast out from that freeze is ALT+TAB out and back in to the game.
But when I ALT+TAB out and in it only continues for next 3-10 seconds.

Does any one have any idea what might be more permanent fix for it?
