Why such low repair costs for russian MBTs?

Like, both the T72 and T80 are invincible from the front yet thier repair costs are insanely low, wereas tanks like the Leopard 2A6 and Challenger 2 have 6,000 SL repair. What is the reason exactly?

invincible? And you're saying 6000 is a lot ? Jesus christ go back to 1.0 and learn the game and weakspots instead of paying your way to top tier, this is a L2P issue

T72 is a mass produced tank the T80 is a little more expensive but its also mass produced just like the previous tanks T62 and T62. Germany got barely 300~ ish of leo2 tanks and they are almost 3x the price of a T72, which is mirrored in game too.

why isn't the leclerc the most expensive then? Most expensive MBT in the world, just tell him it's for balance and when he learns how to play the game or uses russian MBTs then he'll understand why they're cheaper

Where are you shooting those tanks ? I can reliably pen them both from the front in my ZTZ99.

They are laughably easy to kill unlike the 2A6 or the Chally 2.

wierd, cause on the armour protection annalysis it shows that tanks like leo2a6 cant pen it frontally

Shoot the drivers port or around the mantlet, both of these shots will either kill the tank or disable it for quite a while... The weakspots aren't even that hard to hit

Low repair because of low win/kill stats. most late game soviets just spam darts and then ♥♥♥♥♥ that they cant pen leos when you can use the HE shell and 1 shot 2a6s from the front with over pressure.

While that's all true, that's not what Gaijin goes by when determining repair costs.

The soviet tanks have smaller crews which mean that they can be knocked out with fewer shots. Also you'll notice across multiple vehicles they all have the same weakspot being the driver's port and breech. Their weakspots are pretty obvious to most players who regularly engage them and thus take less time to adjust to fighting than say an abrams or leopard.
