Leo 2K/Rad worth?

So, the Leopard 2K and the Radkampfwagen 90 both don't have thermals, which is a bummer to me, because I find thermals really useful and usually have them on for 90+% of the battle in my 9.0 lineup. It also kinda sucks IMO that the 2K doesn't have any better ammo choices than the A1A1 L/44. But I've already bought the 2K and am only 90K RP away from the Rad. Was this a huge waste of time or can I still do better with those two than with the Leopard 1A5/A1A1 L/44 lineup I have rn?

FYI, according to the planned changes, the 2K is getting a new shell type, the "DM23." I have no idea what its properties will be, if it is better or actually worse than what the 2K currently has, just thought I'd mention it.

I think the 2A4 and/or 2A5 might have access to this shell too, so the wiki might tell me what it does. Either way, thanks.

Edit: it has 17mm more pen at every distance when perpendicular to the armour. So not that big a change, but it's something

Leo 2K is great, I've taken out so many higher BR tanks by ruining their cannon and then tracks with my 20mm

The 2K is a Great Leo Tank and you can kill MBT with the 20mm gun and also against Heli. It's also great to bring out with a full Leopard Tank Lineup.
Now the Rad is good for Hit & Run and is quite Fast. For a more Bulkier version would be the Class 3 P.

This. You are the first to mention the awesome 20.

2K is best Leopard in the tree. Fastest Leo with 20mm on top. Radkampwagen is also amazing vehicle. It's super fast with very good gun.

Is it getting moved to 9.3? On the BR changes page it only says it's getting the DM23, nothing about the br changing at all

It's not moving to 9.3. Probably some dumb CC said that and no one bothers to check for themselves.

Nah it was originally set to move down but after community input it's staying where it is.

It was changed back to stay on 9.7 its not CC bs it came directly from the head admin.

"Just to clarify the Leopard 2K and Jpz 4-5 will remain at their current BR based on feedback. We will revise the shell loadouts (detailed in the table) and keep them at their current BR. "

Leo2k very worthy, but Radkampf i aint good with it coz its hard to hide that towering thing.

Its not meant for Hiding. Its for Hit and Run. You have to be always on the move.
