Is there any way to choose which maps to play?

I absolutely hate open maps with a burning passion. Getting sniped by a random bush on the other side of the map is not fun at all. I can barely see the enemies even without the bush DLC. And I just don't like peek a booing at extreme ranges.

For the last couple of hours I haven't seen a single urban map. Fields, bushes, trees etc. Maps with lots of buildings are great fun for me.

HOW DO I CHOOSE WHAT MAPS TO PLAY?

Non Rant Version: Nope.

There is a way to ban 1 out of 999 Map's (NOT Game Modes) and "Dislike" 3 Maps but... i havent really found out that something changed

How to Access this "Filter": Under the "BATTLE" Button you'll find the kind of... thing you play (i dont know the exact name since i play with a German UI so please forgive me) but you can click on the game mode and then the game modes will get listed. Like Arcade Battle, realistic battle, etc... and on the top right corner you find a little cogwheel where you can like / dislike maps

Yeah. Imagine you mainly or exclusive play Bomber-planes but all you get is 500 "capture the Airfield" maps in a Row. #Fun

bombers in RB arent very usefull.
And 10x less so in arcade, so propably not the best idea to use them there

Bombers are useful in any and all RB matches. AB however is another thing.

Your affinity for urban maps contradicts plenty of map whiners that scream for the open maps so they can simply and brainlessly lob shells at one another. Please respond in kind when you see their whiny cries in up coming threads. Oh, by the way,... you can't choose maps but plenty of them offer the challenges you seek.

A good Bomber team will wipe all the bases and your airfield before you're able to finish off the Fighters in the Bomber team. On average they're RP pinatas, but the potential they have is quite literally, devastating.

then don't spawn and return to hangar.
does not cost you anything.
that is what I do on a map I hate.

there is NO POINT in playing a map you hate,
there is no point in doing something you hate in real life....you hate it for a reason.

I won't go into why you hate it, it does not matter, you hate it, we all hate different maps.

the map filter is a joke, they took out the br restrictions on maps so now you get big maps with low brs and small maps with top.......with the problems that brings.

I then use another nation and play that, I can have several nations on lock down before the game gives me a map I will play,
one I will enjoy, win or lose.

the result is you grind more than one nation.

Only saw such things happen right after TU 4 was added. Since then bombers only waste spots that could´ve been used for fighters lol

Returning to Hangar is annoying tho cuz the crew is locked.
And yeah good bomber teams are rare. Nobody ever does something like teamplay. Protecting bombers as fighters? LOL, Watch me shooting down the air targets that are too strong for me pew pew pew

Never saw bombers climb in arcade.

Theyll die before that when some fighters can climb at almost 90degrees because of The engines boost

Very limited time available for bombers in arcade so its get right down to target asap. They can be devastating but more often the effectiveness is quite situational since you're being chased most of the time.
