What is the refund policy of the Gaijin.net store?
When making purchases, you agree to our Terms of Use which states that payments for acquiring a license to use virtual items are non-refundable. The only exception are technical issues - for example, if your credit card was charged twice for the same transaction. If that happens, please contact Customer support."
To be honest, I don't want a refund. If they just threw the KA-50 in as well(like in the gaijin store bundle) then I'd at least feel less cheated.
Actually fuming.
I eventually found customer support, it's hidden pretty well and you can only contact them for account recovery, or at least that's what the only drop down box option was. So I filed a ticket that way.
??? All you need to do is go gaijin.net and select "Support" at the top of the page, sign into your account, then hit "Submit a request" at the top of the Support page. Literally their first option on the ticket category is "Financial Issues."
If that's your definition of "Hidden" then lol.
While yes, there is that deflating feeling of paying full price for something and then seeing it going on sale, no one is ripping you off or cheating you in any way. No marketing lied to you about the product you purchased.
Customer support is not "hidden". In fact, if you google search "Gaijin Customer Support", the first 2 links that appear is the actual website[support.gaijin.net] and a guide to create a support ticket[support.gaijin.net].
As you've already created a ticket, that's really all you can do, but keep in mind that no company is under any obligation to honor a purchase made at full price during a sale time. For example, I bought Skyrim for $60, I don't expect Bethesda to give me free DLC or $40 back because I saw it on sale for $20 at a different time.
