If so then i think i remember enjoying it more than normal.
- capping a point or about to be capping a point
- stationary and defending a point
- holding some sort of sniper position/strategic position that is threatening the success of the team
there is no such thing as 'bad' revenge bombing regardless, since by destroying an enemy, you're taking a tank off the field, helping your team win, and enriching yourself. people get this mentality that because they went to perfect camping spot #28 and started mopping the floor with the other team, now they're entitled to be left alone and kill you all game.
do your team a favor and go revenge bomb, and if you can save some bombs for the other guys too, well, that's how matches are won
Disagree here, but that is the reason for some.
Its just another form of tunnel vision. Not only is one of the previous posts right, that the information of your killers location is just handed out via death cams, now often the person who died is just thinking, 'he killed me, ill kill him back'. While removing a player is always a positive, it can still be a bad thing.
Often there is a tank or 2 actually causing bigger problems for your team, or a cap being taken, but instead ill just kill the guy who killed me.
You see it so often, 3 tanks with a ton of kills on the cap decapping and the R3 or EBR thats out in the open with a single kill gets an aircrafts entire ordinance dropped on it, often with the plane crashing into the ground/impact timer on just to make sure the salty pilot gets his revenge.
Watching people waste all their bombs(and turf their plane) on something that can be strafed while theres a group packed close enough a bomb could almost score a triple kill just makes you realise the decision making abilities of some players.
And revenge satisfaction
Getting this angry about it is also salty.
What annoyed me was the "wouldnt you try to find them and fight them again?" bit...
Say you want revenge, say its fun, say its strategic... been there, done that...
just dont try to sell it as friendly rilvary / sportsmanship...
not sure if Im making my point clear...
Did it yesterday to a Puma, killed 6 players defending C in White Rock Castle, tried to move to a better position and a Puma outsmarted my SU-85 and cornered me for 3 minutes while my team gave zero ♥♥♥♥♥ untill he slowly killed me, came back with a P-47 and got my revenge, it felt nice and was strategic since 4 players (more like bots) couldnt deal with him...
Depends on the situation. If I see my team is being over run on a point and I can take them all out with 1 or 2 bombs? I'm bombing them instead of the guy who killed me.
If I can't see anyone or there aren't many viable targets due to a team wipe, then I will go for the target that killed me, as I know where it is.
