PT-76 is more for scouting.
PT-76 works more as a recon, flanker and backup veichle once you unlock the HEATFS
On a second note, the only major advantage that the PT-76 has is the stabilizer.
However, it's too little compared to the major drawbacks such as stocking APCR ammo, avarage speed and paperthin armor
Stock grind sucks because of APCR. But when you get heatfs is rewarding
It's still better than APCR, but i agree it dosen't really change the situation
In WT the PT-76 is a recon amphibious tank, the supporting infantry part can be removed without problems as infantry is no existent
