What is your usual experience in battle after using a 500% booster or larger
^
As said above

Using boosters feel like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ curse, I get uptiered almost always and right after, I sometimes get downtiers, if br is not the problem something else weird always happens.

Very poor. I got a 500% booster yesterday, though the team won, I managed one kill on a Bradley with my Leopard I from 1200 metres away. The map isn't great for sniping. I could have pushed forward but I didn't.:mortis: It seems that boosters are cursed items! haha.

Nine times out of ten you get screwed, you can almost feel the matchmaker wheels furiously turning searching the perfect uptier and lousiest map for you.

boosters tend to have a higher chance of an uptier battle, very rarely you get a balanced game but every game you will get planes in ground battles so either you get lucky and survive and somehow win then it would be worth it but most of the time its not much different from normal rewards. If they gave us a ground only mode and lowered the BR range from 1.0 to 0.7 or overhaul the BR system and have a better range instead of the 0.3, 0.7, 1.0, they could make it 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 1.0, so the range would be more balanced but they won't and they hate tanks anyway so they won't fix anything of the uptier games even though its an easy fix by adjusting whether players have 2 or more vehicle of a 0.3 higher BR range then their other vehicles instead of just 1 or just being thrown into a 1.0 higher BR game when you don't have vehicles that can pen.

Anyway Boosters are good when you don't try hard at killing but taking points since taking the points rewards as much as getting kills and its easier to do.

The use of any booster doesn't change anything ingame, exception of one only lone thing : the psychological impact on a player.

Using a booster, you are putting yourself under pressure, you want so much a 100% high rentability for its use that you will do errors, you will "rush", altered skills, etc.

As usual, the bug is often between the chair & the screen.

Normal match, sometimes good, sometimes not. No difference, probably a bit better cause i focus more with a good booster on. I f*** up a lot with no booster on too but it is what it is. I like boosters, cause even with a loss it's like a win.

Yes, that is, of course, true. Hahaha. It is definitely the psychological aspects, where there is heightened attention, that's what gives rise to this seeming "curse". Generally, most people don't look at a loss until there is a booster attached to it. I am guilty to say the least. :income:
Every time I use any type of booster is in Heli EC in the city map, and every time I do I get f*cked in the ass by multiple Ka-50's and cockblocked by my Mistrals missing all the time.

I don't really care for boosters, I just use them because I randomly have them, I don't bother grinding and don't care for the RP or SL benefits so I have no pressure on me, i try to have fun, not get rewards yet I almost always end up getting screwed in worse ways than usual

Big booster means big ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is about to happen, personally I've been having a better time using boosters in arcade, so if I ♥♥♥♥ up, or get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up by the game, I still have more chances to get something out of it

no difference between a booster game and one without. 0 difference to a regular game

Use no booster: 6 killd 1 assist 1 zone captured and won match

500% booster: uptier. instant death, no kill. Maybe an assist. Match lost.

Uptiers are statistically significantly more likely because of the way Gaijin's matchmaking works, regardless of whether or not you have activated a booster.

Gaijin have not expended time and money on programming some complex system just to make things more difficult for people who have activated boosters, just to screw you out of a few extra SL or RP.

As stated above: confirmation bias. You take more notice of and are more likely to remember the results of games where you have activated large boosters. Statistically, they are unlikely to be anything out of the ordinary.

I never use them when i fly alone..
just letting them expire..The reason is when i knew they are active i set my mind to winn and i never winn then...

I do use them when flying in squads with my friends ....many times it works better that way.

Poor. I will guess that some people will say otherwise. But I remembered writing down the odds of uptiers in a week of playing at different times, all while using some form of booster. Mainly 50% to 150%. Most of the games were uptiers or maps that have a tendency to turn one sided fast and repeated spawn killing.

I came to the conclusion that boosters isn't helping me to grind, it's negating my loss income when I lose. So I turn a lose into an average win.
