Sound mod

I was thinking of installing sound mods again, but then I heard about a ban for sound mods. Is that still in effect? And if not, got recommendations to sound mods? I used to use Epic Thunder, but dunno if the author moved on or what.

There's no ban on Sound Mods for general play, they're only banned from Official Tournaments. Sound Mod to your heart's content.

That is good to hear, I am glad they reversed their decision on it. Especially since I only play Realistic and Sim so I would simply not be able to play with it at all.

good luck actually finding a decent sound mod that is up to date the epic thunder is very out of date and no longer being worked on from what I can see last update was like 7 months I think unless something happened the last 3 or 4 weeks and you have to pay money for epic thunder it's a patrion thing now

Yeah that is the thing, I heard that the author stopped giving it out for people, think it was after that decision. But I dunno the full story. Hope to see more sound mods, but I guess that is just not happening much anymore.

I tried the epic thunder I think 4 or 5 weeks ago bought the patrion tried it didn't work last update like 7 months and no new info so yea

Im using realistic combat sound mod RCSM..i think its pretty decent. i like it a more than the games sound and RCSM was just updated not long ago..Get the one with the aug update

Go to sounds in war thunder live and check last month..there are 2 RCSM, but one was updated 15 Aug..

Ive tried searching for it, but theres a dozen different types of RCSM....could you post a link to the august update?
