How Do i Deal With G Forces? (Crew Skills NOT working)
Been trying to play realistic for a while now with my F86-A5 and i simply can't. G Force and Stamina are nearly maxed out, yet my pilot is constantly blacking out after 2-3 seconds of 7-8 g pulls.

Pretty much everything but especially MiG's have no problems zooming right up to me at straight line speeds i can't even fathom achieving, then hang right on my 6 like it's nothing. I try to shake them off but oh yeah i can't because i "Lost control" after 2 seconds of pulling a few G's, which just got me killed because i couldn't evade or do anything, yet the person behind me could stay *directly* on me the entire time without any issue.

I watch video's of people like Phly that can pull 12g's for 3-4 seconds and be perfectly fine, or hold 7-8 g's for 3-4 seconds and not get so much as dimmed vision. Every plane i go against can always hold G's longer than me.

About to give up on realistic, been trying to get this down for months but i don't know how to. G suit? Check. Nearly maxed out stamina and G tolerance? Check. Tapping my pitch back down before i black out to try to buy more G tolerance time? Check.

Still getting out G forced and out turned and out run by every single plane i go against?

Big check.

First thing first.
Is phily playing RB when he is doing that ?

In RB there is a bit more reality in game than AB and less than SB..
If you have the G-suit and the crewskils uppgraded then you should be able to pull some Gs.

But however nobody can do it for to long and it doesnt matter how many skillpoints they have.
Atleast not to my knowledge anyway.

There are only 2 things in game that makes you withstand G force.
your crewskills and your flying. if you have all your crewskills then it is your flying.

Dont fly as in AB when flying in RB that wont work

In terms of Phly that was realistic, i didn't even know he played arcade.

I try to fly just like everyone else, however i can't. I'm not flying like i'm in AB, especially when others are able to do the same as me and more, but i can't.

Thanks for the suggestions

well

i bought all skills with crew the first page with GEs
When i do realy hard dives and realy high speed and turn realy hard i to have this
but that doesnt happen alot..

otherwie in ordinary straight forward dogfights i dont have this problem.
When turning hard and at same time go upwards realy hard will make me out of controll
but i never do this manouvers.
Try to ease up on the turn, not full pull all the time if your speed is high. 8+g is a lot...look at this dude sustaining ~9 for half a minute... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_0nbRYIBVDQ

When your g tolerance is 5/5 + expert u should be able to handle 8-9gs tho, bit higher for short amount of times

Edit

Phly get millions of eagles for his work & follower base, he can ace every vehicle. Thats a further +2 full points in gravity tolerance..

Edit2: yeah phly does play arcade, rarely.. 7:28 it shows, not helping the teammate out there cause he assumed that would take too much energy.. in realistic it may have. And a couple of other spots where if one were used to the air arcade physics one would.play it differently. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=m4h9YTF8CGk :) maybe he plays it more now, if so too bad almost none of it gets uploaded, i'd like to see some.

I guess i'll try to get some Eagles or save some up if i can then and ace my crew, i bought the expert with the SL but it didn't make as big a difference as i was hoping for.

Thanks for the replies!

what you did is fine, certain planes like A5 saber or Zeros that can achieve 12 Gs so you are expected to black out more faster compared to 109, yak or even p51, at full pitch you are mostly doing 9++ Gs.
Get that 5/5 first on crew skills, that may be enough..last 0.5-1 points can give quite the relief & difference.

If you have your elevator control bound to page up and page down then you can tap those and you can get an extra 1 or 2 seconds of turn

your brain needs blood.
g force = all blood goes to feet
no blood in brain = blackout
u understand?

True, but this is a non-answer. He's not asking why g forces are modelled, he's asking how he should be dealing with them in-game given the fact that many other pilots can consistently outmaneuver him.

I've bound my elevator to W and S, and that is something i've done that has actually helped me a bit. That was what i meant when i said "Tapping my pitch back down". I heard about that a little while ago and it does help quite a bit.

Thank you, it's frustrating when people don't even read the post and say stuff like that.
Phly is on a creator account, and that Gaijin gives those guys fully spec'd crews and I want to say spaded vehicles too!

The F-86 also has a G-suit modification I believe, research that and you'll be able to pull longer without blacking out.

What I do is have my pitch controls mapped to my keyboard too (pitch up on L Shift and pitch down on L Ctrl), this allows me to quickly pull negative Gs in a positive G turn to "clear" the G force to turn for longer and vice versa.
