Yeah give up playing tanks to play a vehicle that everyone on the enemy team will shoot first because its an easy kill and can't actually beat planes because AA is constantly nerfed to cater to CAS baddies

The thing is, every single one of these topics (sooo many of them), come down to people playing a game and wanting it changed so they dont have to deal with what they dont like.

Now with new players i kind of understand but the op has been playing a long time and plays top tier stuff. If top tier is imbalanced then fix it. Afterall, is my il-2 with a single payload of 2 bombs really overpowered? Especialy as it WILL get taken out by a fighter or spaa.

Calling for a blanket removal of planes and creating a new mode is something that the devs clearly have no interest in as the most they have ever said on the subject is something along the lines of " no ".
Its the mixed gf battles that actually make this game different from any other. Othewise what you have is just another tank game without healthbars.

Anyways, in before the whole thread dies due to insults like normal.

They'll never make a ground forces only mode because it would kill off the other modes.
"but its a mix of battles!!!"
and planes get their own game mode, yet planes get to stink up every other game mode

How had spaa been nerfed? All i ever remember is cas being nerfed. It used to be far worse than it is now.

Weird. I kill at least 1 plane, usually 2 about every time I take out my AA. Maybe it's because I play it like an AA vehicle.

Its an apt name for people that just want to club vehicles that can't fight back instead of playing the air modes where they'll play against people that want to use planes.

You are obviously playing the wrong game for you. From the introduction of gf it has always included aircraft.
You chose to play it. No one forced you.
Why should it change to suit you, or indeed anyone that wants a change based on them not wanting to deal with what is already in the game they chose to play.
If it come to it, i think its players not dealing with stuff with the resources that are available to them, that stink up the game.

try shooting at planes outside of the spawn zone, you'll get killed in a minute or two

About half the planes are frankly redundant in air only modes. They were designed to hit ground targets.

Any good sppa wont be sitting in the spawn zone.... Youre providing no cover to your team.

Cas has been nerfed an awful lot.

R3 is op at swatting ground vehicles in a down tier, and I've seen more R3s die to planes than shoot down planes. AA guns can not keep up with aircraft until radar comes into play, unless you're looking at fringe cases of some ground pounder tunnel visioning to try kill the AA
