Only way to get anything now is market or to wait to the 12th to get the boat / halftrack if you have complete their requirements

Yeah i guess so :) i grinded the Silver lions i needed for the Venom. and now im 20k RP away from the Hawker Hunter. and just today ive grinded 901k silver lions. so im ready to buy the Hunter as soon as i research it. it's been a long and hard journey.

IMO the grind required for the event tanks ( and anything above 6.0 even) is completely obscene. What planet are Gaijin on that they have to make players grind beyond what is reasonable for 95% of people who have other things to do with their time than play WT all day every day....

I find it really alienating, and this is coming from someone who has put in a fair amount of grind in to this game, having mid tiers and high-mid tier tanks in a few trees (Mainly Ger, Rus, Brit, some US). I even did premium for a while, and purchased a premium vehicle (The Strv-81) when i was at my WT peak of playing, but no more. They will not get any more money from me, their business model is breathtakingly punishing on the player, and I cant see any reason for it other than greed.

Exactly this, i also gave them money in the past and was tempted to get prinz eugen for 50% off.
But untill they go more consumer friendly and put more effort into ships im not buying anything.

For strategist im happy that i was able to get the lubeck.
With a job and social life that was all i could manage.

Although Gaijin have made WT look good, sound good, I will never give them money again. If you get into WT too deeply, your wallet will start opening up.

Did someone time how much they spent on finishing one of these events?

Im quite sure i passed 50-60h on the 279, but just an estimation... never again haha.

Ok. If you know beforehand that you won't be able to grind a vehicle, just play normally and sell whatever you get on the market.
