How do I play the L3/33 effectively?

ya see, I love the M13/40 (III). Fast reload, bulky, and a pretty potent gun. Despite these appealing attributes, I find myself infuriated on the sluggish speed of the M13.

Thus, I unlocked the L3 to obtain a higher speed for faster and non-infuriating traverse. The problem is, I can't survive ♥♥♥♥.

yeah the L3/33 is one of the smallest tanks

you can turn that to a benefit :

Buy a bush decal and that tank basically becomes a driving bush.
Hide where other tanks dont find you.
Use cover that other tanks are too big for.

Take care of little piles of logs, I once did a sideflip while drifting on one of them. T'was embarassing explaining to everyone that a bunch of logs were more skilled than me...

You should play RB or SB since it's so incredibly small and you won't get revealed by your name tag. Even without any bushes you're very difficult to see when hidden. Ambushing enemy tanks should be your priority, try to find clever spots that overlook common routes your enemies will be taking. You obviously shouldn't expect to survive even regular machine guns, so be aware of enemy planes.

you can still get bushes for free from the warbond shop
