However, the most important factor is simply panning your POV camera around constantly to the point of paranoia so that it is harder to be surprised by an attacking opponent. It's very easy to prey on players that get tunnel visioned onto a target so you need to develop a pseudo-paranoia complex to make sure you're not getting jumped.
No, there are no hostile markers in Ground RB for aircraft. Keen Vision and Awareness are only useful for game modes that display name tags for the enemy.
AFAIK it's the same as with tanks in GF RB, so no.
think of it as render distance.
your fully maxed out crew keen vision vs my no points keen vision,
you will see me first in rb before I see you all things being equal.
that is why we all see gun shots but not what is firing them at a distance.
can you ignore these in rb, yes,
use your binos or town fighting, doesn't mater so close.
are you at a disadvantage, yes, a little.
an attacking plane might not render until too late.....but you should hear it first and be ready.
If you are flying in ground rb, we have all had the can hear a plane,
can look in the direction.....
can't see it till it shoots and boy was it close..............
all in the wiki and as normal, all ignored.
