well maybe not all but some interesting ones at least, not necessarily modern era
how does the free xp works? pay golds to use it or free xp lying around?
Yeah it's only free exp in the sense it hasn't been assigned to research yet.
the steam pack on the steam store seems legit at 30€ since there are 2 campaigns with it and a 30days premium but how does that compare to the rest of the store?
also can I buy stuff there using my steam credit ?
I don't think they have any idea what they're doing with the release of this higher tier stuff, they really don't have a game mode or a playerbase where this diversity of vehicles really matters or can work in a really harmonious way, again at least not in air battles. It's been a concern since before the game came out of beta... I figured they'd have put a dent in this by now but we really still don't have a game mode.
Think of some of the most successful games right now... Counter Strike, PUBG, Dota, Rainbow Six, League... there's something in common here, and the main thing is they all have a very well defined game mode that keeps the player engaged. Only when you have that can you really balance anything around anything and build a full game. Look at PUBG which was part game part phenomenon... they launched with a mode, that was all they have. War Thunder has sort of been taking the opposite approach from the beginning--work on vehicles and content, and kind of sporadically release them and try to piece it together into basically work in progress game modes that are being playertested until they find something fun.
I like War Thunder, I'm not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ all over it here, I would encourage you to play and have fun with it especially if you're new because those first 3 tiers are really fun for some hours. If you're interested in it for the persistent elements though as if it were an MMO and you're looking forward to the end-game content that you grind to... that's not really how it works. Unlike the MMO style they are trying to go with in how you level/unlock (and even billing the game as an MMO or at least for some time they did), the game works opposite to most of those games. In MMO games you keep playing and unlocking until you get to the end of the game where the "real" game begins... Here I think the real game is in the beginning and middle and peters off the further you go.
But to be honest, the lower br/tiers are more entertaining. It's a lot more popular than the top vehicles anyways...at least for air battles.
My best advice to you is to choose 1 or 2 nation you want to focus on instead of everything
Yeah you can using your steam balance.
