Instructor in RB?

How do you turn off instructor completely while playing realistic air and using mouse aim?

you can use other schemes like relative or realistic joystick mouse to remove the instructor but it isnt worth the effort to baby the plane for marginal gains for RB.

"Instructor" is a feature of mouse aim.

I wouldn't recommend it frankly. You put yourself at a disadvantage by switching to a different control scheme than mouse aim.

If you want a full control scheme experience, play Simulator.

Yeah, I thought of trying different control schemes but the instructor stays enabled even then and clicking to turn it off switches everything back to mouse aim. Also the different instructor toggles in mouse aim controls (auto engine, flaps, gear and near ground control) turn themselves back on on their own. ALL. THE. TIME. Some matches I have to go to options multiple times to keep it off. Needless to say the whole ordeal is driving me nuts. lol

True indeed, but honestly I wouldn't mind if it put me at a disadvantage. I just want a smooth experience. Besides, you can set up the other schemes to behave similarly to mouse aim which puts you on a more even ground versus players with mouse aim.

And yeah Simulator is fun I play it with my HOTAS or mouse joystick control setup. But it is a rather different gameplay experience compared to Realistic.

If you use mouse aim you use the instructor, simple as that.

If you want real controls go to Sim mode and use a joystick (or mouse joystick).

Yeah, kind of understood that already, lol :D Did you read the whole thread? Because I explained that this is not a solution to my problem. The problem being that it has to be that way for RB.

OP asked a question.
So, someone gave his opinion as it was asked.
If the answer doesn't fit your expectative, truely or wrongfully, it's another problem, but a question was asked & so some gave answers.

Now, for sure all the people on that thread may have yet others things in their mind since the time the question was asked : effectively, 10 months have passed yet.

Funny that you bring it up, I'm guessing that it's still an issue:P Haven't bothered much with air RB for a while actually. In retrospective, I agree with sohe - their replies weren't really helpful or constructive at all.
