Best game mode for a newbie

I’m starting to get bored with arcade battles, what game modes are better to do?

I'd say arcade battles are best for a newbie.

But there is also RB & Sim.

Why don't you just try them?

Arcade battles ARE the newbie mode. I'd say it's best you graduate towards Realistic. Watch some videos, take some time studying concepts such as armor sloping/angling, rangefinding, situational awaraness, energy fighting, boom and zoom, target leading et cetera.

Whether tanks or planes, it's gonna be hard in the beginning. So long as you keep at it thought, you'll get used to it and might even come to appreciate these gamemodes far more than Arcade.

Really want to say arcade but I hate that mode so much so I'll say "realistic" battle.. Your best bet is playing RB for few times then pull up armor analysis whenever you meet something you can't kill.

simulator air is a good start! even better if you use a laptop and have no mouse

realistic is the most played IIRC. Keep in mind some vehicles that perform well in arcade are meh in realistic/sim, and vice-versa.

Esc, Options, Audio. I'd recommend turning down your own engine sound while turning up other player's engine sounds. While you're in there turn off grass in optic sight in the graphics options. Gives you a big advantage while not sacrificing graphics for the most part.

Wow guys, you’re right about Realistic Battles. I am getting the hang of bombers, but I can’t seem to fight with my fighters. I guess I just need some practice lol

RB puts me to sleep. AB seems to be action packed

My RB experience is -Wait to join, climb 5 for minutes, try to flight other planes, but end up fighting to control my unresponsive out-of-control plane (yea even spaded.) get shot down by a plane that handles better in RB, or crash.

By that time I'm so bored and too tired to try again.

I do like Naval RB tho.

Quote me if I’m wrong but I feel ground realistic battles, your opponents camp. (y’know like in Call of Duty)

No experience here at all with that... I don't play ground. Tryed it once and then a like 3 times in World War mode. Sorry

I think they need to offer a ship in all their bundles for the same price. That would be cool it's mostly a plane and a tank. w/o a ship. So for me I'd never buy one because I don't (play tanks)

Fat horsecrap, while playing AB you can learn where to aim at specific tanks, red crosshair means no pen, simple as that. You can also memorize your shell drop etc, and when you know all the basics then u can jump into RB and just sit in some focking bush for all game and just shoot some moving players. Using binoculars and looking at the map is not so hard when pace of the game is much slower.

you play any modes that suits you
if you enjoy AB then play AB, if you enjoy RB then play RB and so on

Low br RB is very action pack though. Mid br is where it become yucky then high br is where you can't fly for a few meters before get a sidewinder to the face.
