Who Else Thinks France Just Sucks

The starter planes fight HE 100 and 109 E.
The 2.0-2.7 get trashed by 109F and 109 E4.
Uptiered every round and the worst balance in the game.
Why did they work so hard to make Italy flippin awesome, then give us trash for France?

I don't see any reason to continue with France its just German stat padding.

The only plane I have a particular problem with in the french tree is the VB10

It's a worse P47 without the air spawn, It's an interceptor (which Gaijin even noted in their article about it) that doesn't have an interceptor spawn because reasons

No, I'm not saying that at all, the M.B.157 is a lovely plane (though low ammo) and the other french planes are a bit meh, but get cannons very early so they are decent at taking down any fighter they can get behind. They certainly aren't easy to use, or forgiving, and they probably need a buff, but I didn't have a problem with them

All the reviews I saw on 157 said it was useless. Worst plane ever.
If that's the best France has got I might as well quit now.

Yeah. So terrible. Looks great on paper with canon at super low BR, then you realize they just don't work.

Oh well, atleast I haven't seen a Spitfire is OP post recently. Or a USA 50 cal is OP post for that matter.

I actually think this is one of the first threads I see complaining about T1 german planes. Ussually new players hate em because they are poor at turn fighting and get slaughtered by Spits.

I don't think it's Germany being too good, but merely French planes not being good. But what can you expect really, they didn't get to develop anything until France was liberated, so the you'll jump from pre-war planes to lend lease stuff to post war weirdos. Bit of a weird tree.

Best jet bombers in game are french. So suck it up & get there ;)

The difference being that Italy actually had a good airforce with good planes. Italy had some of the best fighters of the war.

Not saying France didn't do the best they could with what they had, but because they were defeated in 1940 they basically have no good aircraft to fill the meat of their tree. The best French planes are the American ones.

As for the He-100D... yeah that thing is BS. It's way too fast for its BR, just give it the cannons it was going to have and put it at 2.7 or 3.0.
