not in the sense of airfield domination, but in realistic/sim where players returning to the airfield with low ammo/fuel would be unable to kill them, unable to land without dying to their turrets, and too low on fuel to last long enough to win on points
its not the bombers that are low on ammo/fuel, they do it to deny its use to the enemy who are, bombers being slow with terrible climbrates take far too long to go back to there own airfield to reload and try to bomb again, by which time the enemy will be ready for and higher than them so the chances of there actually bombing something useful again are low, so the most useful thing they could do would be to deny the enemy the use of their airfield
Now this all makes sense. Thanks.
Must have been tough to kill off all the AAA turrets; that takes dedication.
