Good plane to grind the French air tree

I really want that new Corsair that they are going to add in 1.79. Any good planes I should put tailsmen on or should I just buy the Narval?

Well you could slap a talisman on the F6F-5 and ground pound in AB. The UK Hellcat has earned me a small fortune over the years, and since the French one is also tier III it will effectively research all props.

Could also go for the Yak 3 since it’s a lot cheaper than the Narval, and it’s a Yak so you’ll be able to do well in RB and AB fighter hunting.

if money is not a concern, the narval is a very good choice, plus the added benefit of tier 5 research bonus from the plane.

as someone who has grinded and spaded all of the french fighters, the only good fighters in the french tree are the reserves (and i mean the air frames so the D.510, D.501, and the premium D.371 are included in that), the D.520, the Potezs, and the M.B.157 in both AB and RB, aside from that the only good planes are the copy-pastes. The Hellcats are good, the sky raider from what i can tell is good (mine is stock) the Yak 3 is good and the bear cat is amazing as long as you spade it (that thing is a really bad grind). Unfortunately the Narval isnt very good in arcade and is a piece of ♥♥♥♥ in both RB and sim which means that the french dont have a good jet grinding premium, but if you want to talisman something, go for the bear cat and maybe the sky raider. Also i forgot to mention the king cobra is ♥♥♥♥

Yak-3 is an excellent plane, and the Corsair will likely be Rank IV so it works out.

Don't worry, we'll get the full Reggiane line by 2026. Seriously though, they added like 4 French planes last update, including a top tier jet, and Italy got a low tier plane. On the bright side though it did start the Reggiane line, which means we'll get more...soonTM.
