Explosion audio too loud?
Does anyone else think that the new explosion of rockets, atgms and planes(or wing snapping idk) is too loud to the point that it causes discomfort to the ears? Lowering the volume will make it quieter but so will other audio

(At a distance the explosion is a bit too loud but if someone spams rockets right beside u, ur ears are gonna crlt+a4 delete)

You probably have your volume too loud anyway, but cant you change the volume of those specifically?
my overall volume is relatively quiet compared to other games and i dont think i can change the volume of the explosion without having other things changed

its cause of this new update that supposed to fix the sounds but more or less broke them

Im not surprised if they broke it
For me I kinda ok with it since it does give a chill.
Unless you don't have Sound Equalizer to modify your Sound settings (specifically the Speakers/Headset)

options, sounds, gun fire. Yes you can change just one thing.

speed of sound setting, which is new might also have something to do with it, not sure,
I know what it does but not how it would change the volume to painful.

turn down the tinnitus and mess with sfx as well.

Ummmmmmm,... yeah, battles are simply loud by nature. Stuff some cotton in your auditory orifice and let us get on with enjoying the sounds of battle as they were intended to be.

I understand it's "realistic" and for many people fun. however, the explosions on death are triggering my IRL tinnitus and preventing me from enjoying the game. I either have to play with sound so low I can't hear engines, OR have my ears destroyed by this. This is an easily solved accessibility issue thats not adequately addressed by the existing audio sliders

A four year old thread is going to have very little to do with the sound environment of the game in 2024.

Play with the settings, engines and explosions are on separate sound sliders.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
