F6F Hellcat MEC Problems
Hi, I have noticed in the new update the the F6F Hellcat has its cowl flaps open all the time, no matter the engine temperature, and it slows down the aircrafts flight and climb rate considerably. After extensive trial and error, I cannot seem to get MEC to close them, even though in the cockpit the cowl flap and intercooler lever moves as I change the radiator values. Any tips?

buy a couple premium vehicles, that usually solves the problem

Well, if you use instructor, then perhaps it's acceptable, as your engine is quite famous as "ovencat". Instructor isn't the best anyway

If you can't close it even at MEC, might as well make a bug report to Gaijin

Luka, it's a problem with the game, not just your plane. My bf-109 b-1, p-51, etc, all do it too. It's a glitch that's been happening since the project x update. Here's a link to a discussion forum about the issue:
