So is there even any point to spaced armor?
Firstly it doesnt even stop HEAT and secondly it doesnt stop or even slow down any projectiles or shrapnel so whats the point of it? iv never been saved by it and sloped spaced armor doesnt stop, slow down or redirect any shells.

You can agle the turret too. That’s how I play my Excelsior. And when angling don’t just show your enemie your sides.
The only time where space armour saved me, is someone called arty on me and the steel plate took a HE shell.

I have been saved 4 times by the spaced armour on the Panzer 4 H by the same KV-1 who was just being a potato and shooting different plates each time

Ive been saved from a m8 heat shell in a panzer 3m
I should have rephrased, I meant the internal spaced armor, like on the abrams and late war tanks, not ww2 tanks, i know the armor skirts works but the internal spaced armor does not.

The spaced armour is pretty much the armour of top tiers and without it almost any tank from tier 3 up could pen you

Spaced armor is quite limited in terms of tanks that use it as a main type of armor. Most are using Non-Energetic Reactive Armor (NERA) which is far better then anything else.
