Whether it's US shermans, british, french, russian shermans, or captued axis shermans, we are all sherman boys. My favorite is the M4A2(76mm) and I enjoy bouncing 88mm Tiger shells. lol :D

M4A1 FL10 is my favorite, you can fool people into thinking your reload is longer than it is thanks to the autoloader, also the shells don't have explosive which really sucks but they do have good pen and spalling.

M4A1 FL10, M4A4 SA50, and M4 748 (a). FL10 for the reload and the fact that it's actually quite hard to use up all 12 rounds in the autoloader, SA50 for the gun (great backup for the FL10), and the German Sherman for still keeping the 75mm M3 while not having to face German 75mm guns. Also, the German Sherman looks the most Sherman of Shermans in my view and the German camo fits it quite well (how many times can I put Sherman in one sentence?).

The M4A4 has the same gun as the FL10, but the M4A4 has the PCOT-51P shell which is much better than the POT-51A. But either way, they're both great tanks.

That's why (along with being the same BR) it makes for a great combo. It is nice that the SA50 has PCTO-51P, but I don't even find a need for it most of the time as POT-51A is usually more then enough. I guess it would help at range, but I personally prefer to get close (well, more so with the FL10).

Adding to the fact that French shermans have an indestructible turret at that BR, espeically if you're on the axis team going against US 75mm and british croms lmao.

my favourite is going against french jumbos and not being able to pen them with apds or apcbc from literally anywhere in the front and then getting oneshot'd by their stub cannon

I do find it werid that the French Shermans are 4.7 when they have Better guns than the Other 4.7 Shermans and 5.3s ones aswell.

The American 76 Shermans definitely need their BR lowered. The APHE they use is more effective post pen wise but it shouldn't warrant that high of a BR. I consider the French Shermans a reward for making it past tier 1.

Yeah it's definitely frustrating to play against Tiger IIs as a M4A2 lol. But when I do have to face higher BRS, I usually like to play slow and look for flanks to support my heavies.
