Is A7M1 (NK9H) the best/most unbalanced premium plane for its tier?

I took a look at the Japanese air tree and noticed that A7M2 and A7M1 (NK9H) are very different and A7M1 (NK9H) has much better characteristics. 608 vs 643 speed, 14.8 vs 19.3 turn time, climb rate 15.1 vs 21 meters/second, everything else is the same. Looks quite OP for 4.3 BR but I am not sure because I did not research Japanese trees and I am curious

Remember that the A7M2 is showing stock performance where A7M1 shows spaded. Statcards aren't everything.

The A7M1 is definitely a good plane though, but I wouldn't say it's overpowered.

My A7M2 is better in all aspects besides turn time, is yours spaded by chance? Or do you have bombs on one or the other?

Also going from your numbers are these AB stats? Just asking because RB has them both in the teens in terms of climb rate.

Edit: the A7M2 does have a more powerful engine and iirc weighs a bit more too. Also both are very good aircraft, in AB you probably won't notice a difference besides premium status.

No it's cool where it is. Used to be too low when introduced at 3.3 but it seems balanced both in realistic and in arcade 4.3-4.7 lineups so idk what you mean. In sim?
