M4A5 / Ram II, is it worth it?

I have enough ge to buy it, and I recently started to play with american tanks and have nearly reached tier 3. It looked like a nice premium for it's tier so I just wanted to know if it was worth buying it, thanks

It's ok, but it lacks the mobilty and firepower. It's not the best but not the worst in the premium line thats all I have to say.

If you wanted something a little higher rank so you can research things in rank 4 faster i'd suggest the Cobra King, it's a Jumbo Sherman that gets premium benifits.

don't have enough eagles for that.. but I may get it instead during the sales sometime

The ram comes up pretty often as a warbond vehicle so its quite easy to get there if you have the time. warbonds are pretty damn easy if you have certain vehicles already researched that make it a breeze, Namely US air(arcade) up to about 3.0-4.0
Thats how i got mine and it is a decent tank at its own BR and below aslong as you are a little cautious with it. Uptier its pretty bad but still usable.

If i was you id get it through warbonds. Youd be best saving the cash and waiting for a discount battle trophy or maybe even a talisman. The M18 is around the same cost to talisman and would be a better workhorse for RP gain.

In the end it is your call, im just not sure how well youll go with it if your playing it purely for RP gain.

The M46 isn't the best. Unless you flank and use the M82 shot then it's not an amazing tank. The HEAT-FS isn't that effective anymore because of the minimal damage it does.

It has good mobility but the top speed won't put you behind the enemy.

If you really want a grinder get the t28. It's the same as the t95, but only had 2 tracks instead of 4. And it's at 6.3 (RB), and the t95 is at 7.0 (RB). It is literally the same tank just with 2 less tracks and less side armor at .7 lower br, so it's a clubber

true. the only t28 that dies are the fools who cap rush with it. those who snipe from the back own everyone else.
