At least 50% of shots fail to kill, sure it will wreck the tank up but will not kill and then you are screwed with your long reload since they swap gunner faster then you can reload.
M42: Its an AA, might as well stick with the whatever that comes before it
M46: Horrid grind to HEATFS (a shelltype i hate with most of my heart), good speed and agility and reload, poor armor, 6/10 tank
M50: Heard great things about it, but the HEAT has a low velocity and HEAT just sucks in general. HESH is always nice but it only has 2 crew and i believe it gets murdered by aircraft and large caliber machine guns
T95: Its slow sure, but its great if you ask me. I do love my big, slow superheavies with great guns, but its not as good as its partner, the T28, due to there being more HEATFS overall in 6.0-8.0
Personally, i would go with the T32 simpoly for the reason you get access to the M103, whcih is one of the best tanks in the game if you ask me. Easiest stock grind ive ever had thanks to the 120mm super AP which can punch through the front of a T54 and T62 no problem and is large enough to one shot both of those and the plague that is the leo 1 and good armor and mobility. The T32 is PLAYABLE but its outclassed by everything else at that tier. But its goes to the M103, so its a necessary evil
Its HESH and HEAT are actualy stronger than normal ad they both have a lot more HE filler than comparable rounds. Plus you can rapid fire 6 rounds, one every half second. And its suprisingly resiliant to aircraft strafing runds, even against 30mm cannons. Its armor may be thin, but its heavily sloped and can stop quite a bit of HMG fire.
But does it replace the M56, you may think so but no. The armor is pretty much the same (the M50 is closed so better against aircraft/artillery/mg) and the speed is too. But the difference is the play style, with the M56 you have to snipe because at CQC if you don't kill the gunner of the enemy tank his MG will end you, and the gun is very hard to control because of how much it moves while you are moving.
But the M50 can't be used on long range because it has 6 guns and those are pretty hard to control. It is much better in CQC because the enemy can't kill you with MG and you have 6 shots to kill him. The guns are also pretty accurate on move.
So in my opinion go for the M50.
