Don't buy it the MM put you in Battles BR with Cold War Tanks you are only CannonFodder with your Tiger Paper Armory. Allied Tanks have Great Super Ammo and he can One Shooted you in all Situation.

Since allied tanks are good.... what tank do you recommend against bots? (a 2 rank tank, is all I can afford for now)

I'm not a WT Expert. I speak with many WT Veterans and he say it's difficult and Hard to play on the BR Higher then 6.0. With Germans Tanks Tiger and Panther land in many Battles with Cold War Tanks as Enemy. And his Pen is very Big. He tell me don't buy the King Tiger when you think you are King of the Hill. You must live with many Angry moments in Tiger and Panthers.

Best is you can test driving all Premium Tanks or Standard Tanks of the Testing Grounds. See what you like Pen / Armory / Mobility and and and then maybe you found a good Tank. Russians are very good to Play. Few of US Tanks are also Good he have Good Speed and Pen.

Play max 6.3br with tiger2(p) and 88mm spg as backup avoid 6.7 tiger2H wich will be matched out agaisnt t54s that are 7.7br...
When you unlock jagtiger and leopard1 then you advance foward stay at 7.3 for awhile until you got atgm and another leopard then work towards the KPZ70 wich for me its the best Mbt ingame.
This is not perfect lineup advice but i think its easier for you to play and grind.

Yeah Tiger and Panther are in a difficult position, but after that with 7.7 it makes fun again.

Test driving got the problem that you cant really see how the tank will react in a real battle. You can shoot static targets, but that was it. I bought the mKPz 47, i tried it and it was nice... but in real rounds its crap in many situations. Still a tier 5 less i need to research, now i am going for tier 6.
