Strv 81 worth it?

I want to start grinding the british and i want the Strv 81 as start off is it worth some 39.99€? :3

Yes it is,but you missed a huge discount on a british pack that had the black prince,wyvern and strv for a rough price of 32,60 i think.

it was included in a sale pack from 26th to the 1st(i think it was) in which you would have got a couple of other premium vehicles too for the price you would pay for the strv alone now. it will possibly be on sale again at some point late in the year though

as to being worth it, it is amongst the best tanks at its rating for the british, decently mobile with a gun stabilizer, APDS and 1st generation ATGMs it can kill anything in the game, just dont get hit because its armour is somwhat lacking

yes, there was one actually including the STRV 81. But its gone already, they changed the packs every few days.

IF youre comfortable with using only AP ammunition go for it. When i bought mine, i was buying it because i remembered that the SABOT used to be overpowered as ♥♥♥♥ and would one shot everything it hit (it as as bad as HEATFS now). But once i played it i was terribly disappointed and i dont do too well in it (my KD in it is about 1:1, but it should be alot better). But its a good tank once you learn it

You wont be using your rockets most of the time as they have to go over a certain distance before you can control them. And since the launchers are aiming slightly up in the air, you wont be able to use them at close-medium range. Also rockets are MCLOS so in RB you are manually controlling them with your keyboard and that takes some practice. So its more likely just premium Cent mk.3
But since there isnt any other premium vehicle to grind tier 5 I'd say go for it. Or get talisman for any other vehicle.

This tank is mostly for flanking operations. You will not be able to brawl with it, as your armour is pretty much non existant, except may be for your turret. You will use rockets and sometimes they will save your ass, or will get that guy behind the hill. Overall it is a good tank, but you need to know weakspot of all tanks, because the second you see someone infront of you, you need to either prevent your enemy from shooting at you, or one shot them all together. Otherwise you will go down next second. Basically, one mistake and you are dead. Unless your enemy makes mistake too.

It is nice, until you consider that you're fighting T-44s, IS-2s/3s/6s, Tiger IIs and Panthers. All of which have decent chances to KO your entire crew with one shot.

No its pretty sh*t.
Paper thin lower glacis and a weak upper glacis. Enormous turret ring that can be penned by tier 3s. And to finish thing of a laughably weak turret roof that can be over matched from the front.
I dont understand why the armor was praised so much in the real world.

However everything else on it is pretty nice.
