In my personal opinion going with the metric system it makes more sense despite being in a country that uses the Imperial System.
Edit: I can't spell like this, comfortable*.
Which means if you use the metric system, you will be more likely to talk about speed etc when talking to your teammates.
I know, but I can assure you that the majority of war thunder players are not pilots, so they are only used to the metric system.
And even in aviation most pilots use KM/H. But they obviously know how to use knots too, since knots are not really imperial nor metric.
I think the metric system is just mathematically more accurate overall.
In example:
100 meters are 1 kilometer.
Makes sense doesn't it?
The imperial system would use furlong to get a mile ( a mile is pretty much the closest I can find to a km ).
It would look like this:
8 furlongs are 1 mile.
Or you could say 1760 yards are 1 mile.
I mean wtf? The imperial system is mathematically so uncomely, ugly and uncomfortable to use and remember, it's like there is no logic about it.
There is a reason why the majority of the world's population is using the metric system and not the imperial system. Trust me.
And I know that there are plenty of Americans and a few Brits who feel the need to defend the imperial system claiming it's much better. But hey, even the U.S Armed Forces use the metric system.
Thanks mate, must have forgotten a 0 there.
