and because they're huge ♥♥♥♥♥
In ab their plane deaths do not count at all, so there is no reason to stay alive. And since the kill gets you rewards(rp etc) and staying alive just gives a slight silver lion bonus why not just suicide.
Its more an issue with the game mode then the players. Although im sure if they changed it so dying actually did negatively affect the pilot there would still be some that still suicide bombed.
In RB tanks where you want to stay alive to gain more spawn points to get in another vehicle you rarely see suicide pilots.
AB tanks is a clusterf*ck, RB is surprisingly good but unlike aircraft RB, gives no extra bonus to gains.
I know right, damn donkeys
Second: It's called Realistic Battles, not Reality Battles.
What, if they "kamikaze"(Which is hard for the game to determine), do their vehicle instantly detonates itself cause of that?
Even in AB, if you're on your final straw, and using a plane is probably the only way to turn the game around, if you screw up and have to crash, your tank explodes just for that, leaving you behind?
God, this is not going to work.
As it is now, there is almost no penalty for dying in AB. This is highly unrealistic and it encourages suicide behaviour. Stronger penalties for every death would be harsh for novice players, but better awards for surviving would be a benefit for all.
that just makes it harder to get other people to play with and doesn't allow progression.
