Trying to introduce friends to the game.

Hi. First, my lenguage is spanish, so sorry for any mistake.

I have been playing WT for a while and now some friends want to play, the problem is that when I play alone all the guys in my team are in tier near to my own, but when i go in a party with friends, there are even tier 3.0 and my friends are starting so are just reserve and 1.0, they get frustrated.
I go with reserve units and the same happen, but alone is everymode balanced, even with some bots per side.
How can i do something for get a better matchmaking when playing with friends? Or making a squad give u some special matchmaking? :(

What br tanks are you bringing in when you are playing with friends? The matchmaker will choose the BR of the highest tank equipped, so if you all use reserve, then that shouldn't be happening.

It is happening, I use the british and i got just 2 reserve tanks because i don't even unlock a third one. My friends are with 2 reserves and sometimes a 1.0 if the nation have a 3rd one unlocked for default.

Unfortunately, if you want your mates to have the usual ease-in period, you may have to not squad with them or anything because you are no longer able to play in the safe-pen ease-in phase. And because of that, if you squad up with them, they also will not be able to play in the initial safe-pen.

By the way: The BR difference in Arcade Mode is 1.3. So, if your highest plane is 1.7, you can be put against 3.00 Br planes.

Really, it all boils down to this: It's the fault of Vet Smurfs for ruining your low tier experience.

But when i play alone i play in my "safe zone" and everything goes around the tier of my best unit, and the maps just have 1 point for capture in AB. But with friends, even if we all go with reserves and 1.0, there are guys on 3.0 and the maps are extra big, with 3 capture points and things more complex than when i'm alone.
So, we just must endure? Isn't a way for play leveled in squad? :(

It's OK. So just be in the squad with my friends ruins everything and doesn't matter what tiers are my units.

A player with more experience about squads will hopefully give you a much better answer to that. Someone will reply a better answer on this thread at some point.

If you make sure that no ones line up has a tank higher BR than 1.3 then the highest BR you should meet is 2.3 and you shouldnt have too many problems also for new players Russian tanks are probably the easiest wether your in a squad or not wont affect what tanks or players you meet as for so called ¨"vet smurfs" a lot of the time you get an experienced player starting a new research tree so he starts at the bottom like everyone else.By the way your English is pretty good ,lot better than my Spanish and I live in Spain LOL.

when you squad you all have to check your tanks lineups, br not tiers.
If someone in a squad has a tank with higher br that person will drag the rest of the squad to higher br matches.
Sometimes im playing 8.3br and iam invited to squad up, 1st thing i do is to ask" what is the br we are going to play?".
And they say its 6.7 i imidiatly have to rollback and change my entire lineup to 6.7 to not drag my friends to toptier.(just an example).

Thanks for the help but it doesn't matter. My friends are totally new, just have reserve and 1.0, i go even with just reserves, just those 2 reserve tanks for nation, and we are matches against 3.0.

Is it a bug?
